Lucky 13 — Rat Pack Jazz, a new CD release from long-time Mannheim Steamroller band members Johnny Adams and Ron Cooley, has been characterized as “Music From The Golden Age of Sound”. We’re proud to now offer this unique release from two of our “Friends of the Family”
Lucky 13 features 13 classic songs as “Fly Me To The Moon”, “That’s Life” and “There, I’ve Said It Again” all performed by Johnny in the warm and relaxed crooner style from the “rat pack” era. The album captures the magic of chart-toppers as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tony Bennet. Listening to Lucky 13 will take you back — or introduce you to — the distinctive and elegant sounds from the past
Johnny and Ron have a long history with Mannheim Steamroller. Johnny plays guitar and bass for special events as The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and for national television and radio performances. Behind the scenes one of his main roles is artist management which means that he is instrumental in Chip’s day-to-day business needs.
You’ve probably seen Ron over the years; he is a mainstay of the annual Mannheim Steamroller Christmas tour. A wizard on classical guitar, bass and lute, he also performs in our television specials and is always called on for other unique events.
Known as “Adams & Cooley” outside Mannheim Steamroller, their sold-out live performances have been captured in Lucky 13 — Rat Pack Jazz. We’re sure you’ll become one of their many fans after hearing the album so order yours now! The CD also makes a great Christmas gift!
