Oh my” is right! On Chip’s 150-acre farm, there are critters of all shapes and sizes roaming around. In addition to Seti and Ramses, the two Timberwolves we told you about last month, Chip also has four horses. Their names are Ghost, Twist, Barbara and Acorina. Not to mention there is a flock of chickens being cared for by Chip’s son, Evan!
Some of the horses’ favorite activities include exploring the pastures and finding shade in their barn. However, nothing excites them more than the sound of Chip and his golf cart, as they know that where Chip is, a sack full of carrots is not far behind.
All of the horses have become friends with Seti and Ramses. Ghost, who was actually born on Chip’s farm and Seti, the oldest wolf, have especially hit it off. Ghost and Seti often can be found running side by side as Chip follows with the golf cart.
Ghost is a Warlander, which is a breed of horse known for their strong build and use in the cavalry since the late sixteenth century. This unforeseeable friendship between Ghost and Seti inspired Chip and has thus created the basis for his new book “The Wolf and the Warlander”, a trilogy to be released later this year. The Young Adult book captures the incredible adventures of these unlikely friends.
